What we offer

IT Consulting, end to end.

Technology strategy & roadmaps

A practical plan for which systems to build, buy, replace or retire over the next one to three years, tied to your business goals.

Architecture review

An outside look at how your software is structured, where it will struggle as you grow, and what to change first.

App development consulting

Help with scoping an app, choosing between Flutter and native, writing a requirements document or reviewing a vendor's proposal.

Cloud & DevOps advice

Hosting choices, cost reviews, backups, monitoring and deployment pipelines for AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or DigitalOcean.

Software & security audits

Code quality, security and performance checks against recognised practices such as the OWASP Top 10, with fixes ranked by risk.

AI readiness assessment

Which of your processes are good candidates for AI, what data you need, likely running costs and the risks to manage.

Process

How the work flows.

  1. 01

    Discover

We meet your team, study your current process and agree the goals, users and must-have features. You receive a clear scope and estimate.

  2. 02

    Plan & design

We plan the architecture and design the key screens as a clickable prototype, so you can see and test the product before development begins.

  3. 03

    Build in sprints

We develop in short sprints, typically two weeks each, and show you working software at the end of every one. Feedback goes straight into the next sprint.

  4. 04

    Test & launch

Functional, device and performance testing, then a careful launch: store submissions, server setup, data migration and team training.

  5. 05

    Support & grow

After launch we monitor, fix and update, and help you plan the next set of features as your users and business grow.

FAQ

IT Consulting: common questions.

Will you just recommend that we hire you to build it?

No. Our recommendations stand on their own, and you are free to carry them out in-house or with any vendor. If we think you do not need new software at all, we will say so.

How long does a software audit take?

Typically 1–3 weeks, depending on the size of the codebase and infrastructure. You receive a written report and a walk-through session at the end.

What access do you need?

Usually read-only access to the code repository, hosting dashboards and documentation, plus short conversations with the people who run the system. We sign an NDA before any access is shared.

Can you review a quotation or proposal from another vendor?

Yes. We check whether the scope is complete, the technology choices are sound and the timeline is realistic, and suggest questions to ask before you sign.

Do you offer ongoing consulting?

Yes. You can retain us for a set number of hours each month as an outside technical adviser, for example to review releases or join vendor meetings.
